Assigned Certifier

The Building Control Amendment Regulations (BCAR) came into operation on 1st March 2014 and includes the requirement for an Assigned Certifier to the building works.

Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP)

Clients have legal duties under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations which include a duty to appoint a project supervisor for the design process. This ensures the co-ordination of the work of designers throughout the project where the PSDP appointed by the client oversees the coordination of the design work.
